Are you training to lose weight or to add life?
Very often, people start exercising or making changes to their lifestyle for weight loss. This is important for our overall health; however, if you flip the script and focus on what you will add to your life, you will likely be more successful and likely to stay consistent.
If you feel like making healthy changes is a chore or that you are sacrificing in some way, try focusing on a few of these instead:
Exercise is a mood booster. Instead of "Ugh, I have to workout today,” switch it to “Woo hoo, it's a workout day!” When we exercise, our body releases endorphins, or natural painkillers, and other nuerochemicals that can help improve mood, reduce stress, and even reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety.
You will sleep better. Regular physical activity can improve the quality of your sleep, making it easier to fall asleep and stay asleep through the night.
You will have more energy. It sounds counterintuitive, right? However, engaging in regular exercise can boost overall energy levels, helping you feel more alert and productive throughout the day.
You will have better brain function. Exercise has been shown to improve memory, concentration, and cognitive function. It may also reduce the risk of cognitive decline and neurodegenerative diseases as you age.
You will have a stronger immune system. Regular physical activity can help strengthen your immune system, making you more resilient to illnesses and infections.
You will improve your mobility, flexibility, and balance. Exercise helps maintain and improve flexibility, balance, and coordination, which can help prevent injury and reduce the risk of falls and injuries, especially as you age.
You will feel more confident. A sure way to feel more confident is to do hard things and do them when you don't necessarily want to. This improves your trust in yourself.

Regular strength training and aerobic exercise will add more to your life than you can imagine. Eliminate the scarcity mentality and focus on the benefits.
There is literally nothing more valuable or important than your health.
